Why become a registered user? Registered users are able to create, and print reports for properties free of charge. THE 2023 TAX BILLS PAYABLE IN 2024 ARE MAILED BY THE END OF JANUARY. FIRST HALF PAYMENTS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 29, 2024; SECOND HALF PAYMENTS ARE DUE JUNE 15, 2024; OR IF PAYING IN FULL, PAYMENT IS DUE BY APRIL 30, 2024. PLEASE NOTE: 2024 is not a reassessment year, therefore, most parcels shall remain at the same actual value and only those parcels with a classification and/or physical change to improvements, as of 1/1/2024, will receive a Notice of Valuation (NOV). Notices of Valuation will be mailed May 1, 2024, and appeals shall be accepted up to June 10, 2024. Even if you do not receive a NOV, it is still your right to appeal your parcel's valuation and/or classification. Please use the following link: http://ouraycountyco.gov/139/Assessor to access the Assessor's information page where you can find Vacant Land Sales and Residential Sales used for the 2023 Revaluation (used to determine property values for tax years 2023 & 2024) in addition to Frequently Asked Questions and other very useful taxation information.
